A Message from Zack Hurley: Producing in Uncertain Times

“We are fortunate to be able to be so connected to each other at this time, we are fortunate enough to be able to use this as a time of reflection. For those of us that are in the process of developing and creating our dream and our vision, we have ways to continue to move that process forward. This is a great opportunity to get creative, to get clarity, and to build something. To pull the resources together, to start reaching out to people, asking for advice, and developing your business plan.

What keeps me going and the reason that we built this company the way we did is because we saw that there is a massive need for people all around the country who are inspired to create something, and have these amazing ideas, but are not sure what to do first. They don’t know how to get started and get the idea out of their head and into the world. So we built a program around being able to make that dream a reality. It’s not really complicated, we just pulled the most talented people out of the Los Angeles area that we could find and we put them together and created structure so that they could do what they wanted to do, and what they are best at, together.” – Indie Source co-founder and CEO, Zack Hurley

At Indie Source we value the ability to connect with our brands and designers one-on-one in this difficult time to ensure that they have full transparency on what we are doing to keep their product and business progressing.

Because we choose to work with in-house pattern-makers, sewers, and project managers, we are able to ensure that our team can both work remotely, yet get their work done so that they are safe, healthy, yet fulfilled in servicing their clients.

Having direct relationships with all of our makers ensures that we understand everyone’s unique needs at this time and can honor them. It also ensures that our clients feel that same level of concern and care.

We were built on the importance of supporting local creators and vendors in the Los Angeles area and domestically, and those values are what make us agile, resilient, and connected at this challenging time. We would love to connect with you and hear your questions and concerns so that we can tell you exactly what we are doing and how we are doing it through this difficult time. Please reach out!
